In order for transformation to occur teachers need to provide students with environments where they are able to break down the walls of constriction and take risks (Jefferson & Anderson, 2017) As a teacher we need to have an open mindset and be critical thinkers ourselves so that they are able to model this to their students. Teachers that display transformation themselves and are crucial and reflective thinkers will be able to work collaboratively with their students and help support and encourage their imagination and creativity. The 4Cs approach is designed to transform learning by promoting imagination and creativity. It supports crucial reflection and collaboration. This approach can help support leadership as it encourages communication, which is a key element in teaching and learning in school.
